First, we completed the POD which was finding the center of a circle. We then quickly went over the homework(MAKE SURE TO HAVE CALCULATOR IN RADIANS FOR CALCULUS) and moved on to notes 1.3 on the first type of integral, definite integral-area between the curve and the x-axis or value of the area over a specific interval. We learned how to graph definite integrals on both the NSpire and our TI-83/84's. Then we worked on Exploration 1-3a and counted boxes to estimate the integrals.
Homework: pg. 16 Q1-10, #2a, 3a, 7, 12-14.........also to be ready for a concept test on Tuesday on instantaneous rate of change.
Hey this is to anyone that can see this, today is Sunday the 15th and i am confused because do we have any sort of test or quiz THIS Tuesday the 17th right? Or was our concept test on Friday 13th the thing Brett is talking about. And plus there is the Chapter Test on Monday 23rd right?
ReplyDeleteYou will have concept quiz on Thursday the 19th (this week). It will be on concept #2 and concept #18. I know that's out of order, but I'll explain why in class on Tuesday. You can check the concept list on the website to see which concepts they are. The Unit 1 Test will be given the following week. Again, I'll explain this on Tuesday in class which is also when I will give you the Take Home/Review packet for the test.
