I forgot to mention that we did talk about the integral of 1/u.  When you take the integral of 1/u using the power rule you would end up getting u^0/0 which isn't possible, however the true integral of 1/u, as we discussed in class, ends up being the ln(u), since the derivate of ln(u) is 1/u this makes sense.
